Newhouse farm we believe in combining the good from old and new.
The
land farmed around Newhouse farm has a rich history stretching back to the
earliest days of man in the Peak district.
This
land may have been farmed from the Bronze Age and is rich in Bronze age finds
including a unique Bronze dagger.
At Newhouse we believe
in farming in ways that do not harm the environment.

Education
is a vital link between the past and future and both children and adults can
benefit from the short introduction to our farming methods and the
Archaeological Trail
Visitors are always welcome; whether to stay in the converted barn,
or to camp,
or to purchase our own beef, lamb, eggs and vegetables from the farm shop;
or to walk around the farm admiring the views
whilst following the archeological trail
(including the Standlow barrows )
